Have you seen the Awesome Travel Products Currently on Kickstarter?

While many airlines seem to be doing their best to make travel as stressful and uncomfortable as possible, the huge changes in technology have made many aspects of travel easier, more fun, and more entertaining.

So what’s in the future, and what can we expect from the travel products currently on Kickstarter?

Socks

It may seem boring, but it’s actually not, since packing the wrong socks can make a huge difference to your trip, particularly if you’re flying long-haul. Stealth Socks were inspired by James Bond, saying that they wanted to be able to create a sock that could keep even his feet sweat-free and cool under pressure.

The good thing about these socks is they’re perfect for business trips, since they’re formal enough if you’ll be spending time in the boardroom, but the tech they’re packed with will keep you cool- even if the meeting isn’t going well.

The socks have two fabric technologies- activated carbon infused and bacteriostatic silver fibres which keep your feet both dry and odor-free.

Travel Pillow

Sure, you’ve probably already got a trusty travel pillow that you use and love, but the WOOLLIP travel pillow is like none other.
While this is one weird looking pillow and shaped like a giant carton of milk, WOOLLIP was inspired by massage chairs, and allows you to wrap your arms around it in multiple positions- face down, to the side, resting against the window or sitting on the tray table.

Travel Wallet

While there are many great things about technology, we also have to keep up with the bad guys, who find new and improved ways to get hold of our personal information. The Dash Travel Wallet is super thin and will accommodate your cash, boarding passes, credit cards and passport, while incorporating RFID protection into its small size which keeps your travel documents and passport safe.

Vacuum Packing

If you’ve ever vacuum packed your clothes, you’ll know that you can save a ton of space- crucial if you’re flying carry-on. The VAGO allows you to suck even more air out of the plastic bags, which means they can fit into smaller suitcases (or you can fit more clothes in). The small, egg-sized gadget plugs into a wall outlet and you simply press one button to compress all of the air in the bag.

Bluetooth keyboard

This is an invention that will be great for business travellers. It’s a teeny Bluetooth keyboard that you can keep in your bag or shirt pocket until you want to do some work. It’s only 6inches by 3inches when it’s folded, but unfolds to the same size as a Macbook Air keyboard. This water-resistant keyboard is perfect for flights with a little turbulence, and is sure to help you get work done either at the airport, in your hotel or on your flight.
